KFC is at it again. The latest PETA footage uncovers the barbaric and sadistic treatment of chickens at a farm supplying the global fast food franchise.
Tortured for Fast Food
At a Japanese farm supplying fast food chain KFC, workers were seen wringing chickens’ necks before dismembering them while they were still alive. The chickens were fighting for their lives as their chests were torn open. Workers did not always succeed in rendering the birds unconscious, and some birds were placed in refrigerators while still alive.
Other chickens were thrown and kicked around like soccer balls and left to die slowly in dumpsters. Live chicks born with “bad legs” were also simply thrown away like garbage.
Chickens are intelligent and inquisitive animals with complex social structures, adept communication skills, and distinct personalities. They do not deserve to be torn apart so that humans can eat their body parts.
